CLINIC WORK
From our clinic in Maun we run Botswana’s only CNVR (collect, neuter, vaccinate, return) operation: sterilising and vaccinating the region’s large dog and feral cat population. We also provide an ‘emergency first-response’ service to injured livestock.

ROAD SAFETY

Hundreds of free-roaming donkeys are killed every year in traffic accidents. We’re saving their lives – and those of the car drivers that hit them – by making the donkeys more visible at night with ‘glow-in-the-dark’ ear tags that reflect oncoming car headlights.

MOBILE OUTREACH
We dispatch veterinary teams to remote areas, bringing vital veterinary treatment to isolated communities. We’ve travelled the length and breadth of Botswana, a country the size of France, to deliver the chance of a better future to thousands of animals.

EDUCATION
Six days a week, year round, our team talks to villagers about animal welfare. We distribute thousands of educational leaflets annually and are fundraising for a full-time educator who can visit schools to demonstrate the importance of animal welfare.

PROTECTING WILDLIFE

We visit rural areas where villagers live side-by-side with wildlife. Our work helps to prevent the transmission of rabies and canine distemper: diseases which can decimate wildlife including the endangered African Wild Dog, lions, leopards and cheetahs.

ADOPTION & REHOMING

We don’t run a traditional dog shelter, but we are often given abandoned dogs and unwanted puppies and kittens to rehome. If you’re thinking about getting a pet, why not get in touch? All our adoptees are sterilised, vaccinated, and free of charge.
